This is a specialty Lithium battery, made just for Blue Heron. It offers a combination of a high output BMS to provide starting capability, plus Deep Cycle functioning. Thanks to its Lithium construction, it is much longer lasting than AGM or other lead acid batteries.  This 105Ah battery matches the standard Group 31 battery size, but with more useable power, and less cost over time.  This battery weighs only 28 lbs, can accept a high charge rate, and has a built-in, matched, SMART BMS system to ensure protection of the battery, safety and extended life.

The Dual Purpose Battery is ideal for bass fishing boats and those applications where your boat or RV only has one battery, both for house loads as well as small engine starting. This battery is able to start gas outboards up to 115 hp, and diesel engines up to 50 hp. Use two of these in parallel if you need to start a larger outboard, or two in series if you need 24V for that trolling motor.

LiFePO4 is the safe lithium, with resistance to ignition.  It is not susceptible to the hazards of lithium-ion batteries like those in cell phones, portable computers, or similar high-energy density.  This battery is made with small, Grade A cylindrical cells, and includes a top-flush-mounted LCD digital voltmeter to keep track of battery status.
